Travis’s story of alcohol addiction begins in Alaska with casual drinking. One beer turned into 4-6 and that turned into 8-10. He didn’t think he had a problem. He didn’t realize he was affecting his family and loved ones. One day there was a knock at the door, Travis was confronted by his family, friends, and boss, for an intervention.
It was painful for him to realize that not only was he hurting himself, but the people he cared for the most. Struggling as an alcoholic, he was apprehensive to seek alcohol rehab treatment and still didn’t think he could be helped. That all changed after his stay at Cycles of Change Recovery Services.
